防护等级

防水、防尘规格在IEC60529(国际电气标准会议)中，是为了标识对电机机械器具的保护等级（IP等级）所制定的。IP后面的两个数字，左侧的表示防尘等级，右侧的表示防水等级。例如（IP45）表示的是:防尘等级为4级、防水等级为5级。另外，如仅用IP标准表示防水等级的时候则写成(IPX5)的形式。（X）表示没有做防尘测试，（IPX5）仅仅表示防水等级为5级。
